Leve Kanpe exists to assist impoverished children, families and communities around the world to "rise up" and achieve their highest potential. We believe everyone should have access to clean water to drink, food to eat, education and employment opportunities, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender. Leve Kanpe will reach these goals in a sustainable way that also encourages economic development for the entire community.
Our motivation is God's love for all people and His commandment to love one another. |

Our vision is to see the community of Gressier grow and flourish with Christ as the foundation. We will work towards this goal by constructing a community center for the residents of the village, where they can receive education, business training, medical care and discipleship. Additionally, we will strongly focus on training the Haitian staff to have ownership in the ministry and one day continue the work independently. Our philosophy is to promote sustainability with local resources and local talent, so that the ministry will continue to thrive even without American presence. Additionally, we will continue to work closely with the established ministry of JoyHouse, local pastors and church leaders, and maintain our support of a local orphanage.
We believe in the power of the Gospel and desire to see lives changed by Jesus. Although many Haitian people struggle with the slavery of sin and the bondage of voodoo, we know there are no chains that His love cannot break. This is the reason why we go and the hope to which we cling.
